OJ ROBBERY KIDNAP TRIAL JURY

description

Las Vegas lawyers are picking a jury in the OJ Simpson robbery/kidnapping case… a year after he walked into a casino intent on reclaiming sports memorabilia.

It figures to be a long road to select a jury beginning today in Nevada for the former NFL star actor, advertising pitchman and double murder acquitte Simpson.  He has one remaining co-defendant on the docket beside him  — Clarence "C.J" Stewart, a 54-year-old golfing buddy.

When the jury is finally selected, the prosecution will try to prove that Simpson and Stewart walked into a casino hotel room on September 13, 2007 with four accomplices and robbed the sports collectible dealers at gunpoint of items that Simpson said had been stolen from him.

The four alleged accomplices have turned on Simpson, pleading guilty to lesser felony charges, agreeing to testify for the prosecution.

Simpson’s attorney swayed turncoat Walter "Goldie" Alexander to admit his testimony went to the highest bidder. And it wasn’t OJ.

Simpson and his co-defendant Stewart have pleaded not guilty to burglary, coercion and assault with a deadly weapon. If convicted, they face  life imprisonment.
