The Phil Spector murder retrial jury in LA has been selected in the shadow of the OJ murder case!
The music producer’s trial is just doors away from the hall where Simpson was acquitted 13 years ago in the double murder of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.
The jury consultant who helped picked prospective jurors in the Spector retrial also assisted Vegas prosecutors who won an armed robbery conviction against the disgraced football great.
Spector who revolutionized pop music with his Wall of Sound recording technique is charged with the murder of B-movie thesp Lana Clarkson, 40, who was found dead by gunshot wound in Spector’s palatial manse in 2003.
The first attempt at convicting the weirdly coiffed music impresario ended in deadlock. Spector’s attorney claimed that the Amazon Women on the Moon actress was depressed over her fading career and committed suicide by blowing her brains out.
Spector, 68, has a new defense team headed by Doron Weinberg.
