OJ CURSE STRIKES – CELEB CRIME WRITER RUSHED TO HOSPITAL

description

First it was a key witness stricken with chest pains, now celeb crime writer Dominick Dunne has been felled!

Vanity Fair scribe Dunne was covering the OJ Simpson armed robbery/ kidnapping trial in Vegas when he was doubled over by sharp pains while watching testimony unfold.

"Tell them not to worry," the 82 year old told AP

"They’re going to check me out and I’ll go back to the hotel and watch the trial there today."

Dunne has covered major society and celeb trials including Claus von Bulow, Michael Skakel, the Menendez brothers , William Kennedy Smith – and of course, Orenthal James Simpson.

Dunne has been battling bladder cancer and  stated in recent interviews that the OJ trial is probably the last go-round for this veteran chronicler of celebrity justice.

"An O. J. case is the perfect capper because he’s been such a part of my life for 13 years,"  Dunne told The New York Times.

"I had a literary following before, but because of O. J., I became a name and a public person – which I love.

"I think it would be a fitting way to end."
