The cast of The Office was named best comedy ensemble at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday. 30 Rock‘s Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey took home statues in the acting comedy categories. Meanwhile, The Sopranos earned three trophies — one for James Gandolfini for best actor in a TV drama, one for Edie Falco for best actress in a TV drama and one for the cast for best drama ensemble.
On the film side, No Country for Old Men took home the prize for best cast in a motion picture while its star, Javier Bardem, was named best male actor in a supporting role. Daniel Day-Lewis won for male actor in a leading role for There Will Be Blood and dedicated his award to the recently deceased Heath Ledger.
