NO PRICE IS RIGHT FOR ROSIE

description

It looks like Rosie O’Donnell won’t be the new host of The Price is Right. In a video blog posted Sunday on her website, Rosie said, “Here’s the thing. I don’t really need a job. I’m in a weird position. I don’t need the money.”

Her comment was in response to a fan’s e-mail asking why she won’t move to L.A. to replace Bob Barker as the host of The Price is Right. Rosie, who lives outside of New York City with her wife and four children said, “to get my entire family uprooted from their lives and move them across the country so that I can have a fantasy childhood indulgence job just doesn’t seem fair.”

Rosie, who had expressed a long-time interest in hosting the show, met with The Price is Right producers last week and later said, “I don’t know if it’s gonna work out. … I just think it’s a part of American nostalgia, and it’s what America needs right now. It would be good for me, but I don’t know if it’s right for them.” Turns out, it’s not right for Rosie after all.
