Nicole Richie hospitalized in Los Angeles!

The 28 year old thesp and GF of  Joel Madden admitted herself to Cedars-Sinai Hospital yesterday.

"Nicole began feeling sick, and has pretty much been in bed. She didn't want to make a big deal out of it, but she was exhausted and couldn't take care of Harlow and Sparrow the way she normally does," the pal told Fox411.

"Nicole spent most days in bed, and the kids were brought in to her, since she was feeling so icky."

Her publicist confirmed the former Simple Life Paris Hilton BFF is suffering from pneumonia.

Richie was stricken after a judge earlier in the week OK'd a restraining order against two over-zealous paparazzi.

Richie, the daughter of singer Lionel Richie, recently gave birth to son, Sparrow, in September and despite recent rumors denied she and partner Joel Madden have officially tied the knot.

While in the slammer for a 2007 DUI charge Nichole announced her first pregnancy with Harlow.
