Naomi Campbell was arrested at London’s Heathrow Airport on Thursday for allegedly spitting at a police officer. The British supermodel was reportedly placed under arrest for assault on police in Terminal 5 of the airport, home to British Airways PLC. A London Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed a woman was arrested, but refused to disclose her identity or give her age.
Campbell has a history of bad behavior. In 2000, she pleaded guilty to assaulting an assistant but was released without punishment. In January 2007, Campbell pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault for throwing her cell phone at her maid. She was ordered to attend anger management classes and complete five days of community service.
