The new face of vid-game superstar Lara Croft is real life British gymnast Allison Carroll!
Alison beat out hundreds of Angelina Jolie wanna-be’s top be the new face -and bod- of the vid game adventuress.
According to Eidos Interactive Ltd., Tomb Raider: Underworld is the first version designed to reflect the physical athleticism and real-world skills required of a world-class adventurer.
"This is a fantastic opportunity and I look forward to embracing Lara’s world," said Alison. "It’s unbelievable how realistic her movements are in Tomb Raider: Underworld and it’s so gratifying to be able to use my years of gymnastic training to portray such a beloved character."
The Tomb Raider video game franchise has sold more than 32 million units and has spawned two feature films.
