Grammy winner Nelly Furtado is engaged, according to a report. She will soon be walking down the aisle with sound engineer Demacio “Demo” Castellon. The two worked together on Furtado’s 2006 hit album Loose.
“I just don’t really talk about it. Its nobody famous or anything,” Furtado, 28, told Blender in July 2006 of her “secret boyfriend.”
Furtado, who is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and is currently recording her first Latin album, was nominated in five categories and won every one including album of the year, in Canada’s Juno music awards in April.
Furtado has a daughter, Nevis, 3 with DJ producer Jasper “Lil’ Jaz” Ghaunia. The two split in 2005 after four years together.
