NEIL PATRICK HARRIS has wed longtime BF David Burtka in Italy.
As The ENQUIRER reported previously, sources said that Harris had been hit with a “gay marriage ultimatum” from Burtka, demanding that the Tony Winner “marry him or set him free.”
Harris, 41, and Burtka, 39, finally tied the knot on Saturday.
Wedding singer Sir Elton John performed at the ceremony as the couple’s nups were presided over by pal and “How I Met Your Mother” producer and director Pam Fryman.
."We happily confirm that Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka were married in Italy in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their close friends and family," a rep for NPH said.
"Guess what? @DavidBurtka and I got married over the weekend. In Italy. Yup, we put the 'n' and 'd' in 'husband'," Harris Tweeted Monday
The couple, adoptive parents to twins, Gideon and Harper, began dating for more than 10 years ago.
