NOW that her ex-hubby has been convicted of stalking her, NCIS star PAULEY PERRETTE is ready to wed her hunky ex-Marine fiance, sources say.
The quirky actress, 43, had put off marrying actor/bartender Thomas Arklie, a 51-year-old former British Marine, until her ex, Francis “Coyote” Shivers, had his day in court, insiders say.
“Pauley wanted to get the trial behind her before marrying Thomas,” said a source. “She feels like she’s finally gotten some closure.”
Pauley wed rocker/actor Coyote, 47, in 2000. They split in 2004, and divorced in 2006. Since then, they’ve been locked in an ugly legal battle that led Pauley – who plays hyper-smart forensic scientist Abby Sciuto – to threaten quitting the hit CBS show.
The goth star made that threat after Coyote and his wife, Brazilian journalist and “Playboy” model Mayra Dias Gomes, showed up at the same Hollywood sushi restaurant where Pauley and her fiance were having dinner in March 2012.
Cops busted Coyote for violating a restraining order that Pauley had taken out against him. He was convicted in February, and faces up to 18 months in jail.
A smitten Pauley – who once dressed for a Halloween party as a kinky cop with boyfriend Arklie as her prisoner – has called her heavily tattooed fiance the “most beautiful, kind, bad-ass man on earth!”
And sources say she’s ready to kiss Coyote goodbye for good.
“Pauley feels that she can get on with her life, especially if Coyote lands behind bars,” said the source. “She was truly frightened by him.”
