Is it safe for Natalie Portman to answer the phone in public? No.
And it’s all because of her upcoming role as a god’s girlfriend in new Marvel flick Mighty Thor directed by Kenneth Branagh.
"Any time I get a phone call, it doesn’t come up as a normal number; it’s like a five digit code," Natalie divulged.
I’m like, ‘What kind of spy organization is this?’ I’ve never seen THAT before.
"I’ve had phone calls from people in the government and they don’t have that. Marvel is some crazy underground world."
But Natalie gets the "why’ ALL Thor dealings have to be kept hush-hush.
"I think everything has gotten more secretive with the preponderance of every technical ability available to scan and blog. You don’t get a script anymore that doesn’t have watermarks on every page that would identify you as the leak if it ever got out. That’s on every script now. It’s not just Marvel movies."
The darn thing is for all the secrecy anyone with a rudimentary knowledge of comics history or the internet can find out all about how The Mighty Thor, a man-god on Earth sacrifices immortality for the women he loves, Jane Foster, (Portman’s character) incurring the wrath of his father Odin, King of the Gods.
