MURDER DEFENSE: OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN MADE ME DO IT!

BOMBSHELL testimony! A Georgia man gunned down his co-worker's husband outside a suburban Atlanta preschool because the suspect believed an angel that sounded like OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN ordered him to pull the trigger, his defense attorney argued.

Attorney for the defense Doug Peters told ashen faced jurors that Hemy Neuman fell hopelessly in love with Andrea Sneiderman, so much so that he believed he was the father of her two children.  The only way to protect them, defense argued,  was to kill her hubby Russell "Rusty" Sneiderman in November 2010.

Neuman, who was Scniederman’s superior at General Electic, also seemed hopelessly devoted to hearing and seeing things from beyond the unknown.

"He thought Sophia and Ian were his children and that Rusty Sneiderman was a danger to them," Peters said, adding his client was not guilty by reason of insanity because he couldn't tell the difference between right and wrong during the killing.

Prosecutors, told the jury to reject the claims of delusional insight by Neuman’s attorneys.

The defense said that Neuman heard and saw an angel that resembled “Grease’ star Olivia Newton-John and the demon who appeared to him sounded just like Barry White.

Prosecutors charge Neuman meticulously planned the cold blooded killing for months so he could be with Andrea Sneiderman

"I'll boil it down to a sentence: A man wanted someone else's wife so he killed her husband," charged prosecuting attorney Don Geary.

"He got caught. We ask you to return a verdict that speaks the truth."

Barry White was unavailable for comment. He remains dead.

Olivia Newton-John is thankfully still alive and seemingly unaware of crimes allegedly committed in her name.
