MOURN TIME AT THE APOLLO

description

All over the world people were shocked and saddened by MJ‘s sudden death but in Harlem, NY, the home of the famed Apollo Theater where Jackson once performed a spontaneous gathering erupted into a celebratory wake.

Filmmaker Christian Moran who lives blocks away from the Apollo tells The ENQUIRER exclusively what he witnessed:

"I had just got home from work and people were everywhere – on stoops, in the streets — families together – some girls crying.  On every floor of my building I could hear very loud Michael Jackson music blaring – – "Billie Jean" – "Thriller" – "Bad" -you name it – and everyone had the sound kicked up!

"Outside the Apollo Theater small shrines sprouted as press surrounded celebs in a circle and even more folks gathered across the street.

"One young man had his PSP plugged into his car stereo and was blasting MJ.  Little kids were imitating Michael moonwalking and singing as the crowd sang along to "I’ll Be There".  It was very much a spontaneous celebration – an complete outpouring of emotion.

"For some there had been Elvis — for us – there was only Michael," Moran said.
