“I STILL love Bill – I always will.” Fifteen years after the sex scandal that nearly destroyed BILL CLINTON‘s presidency, MONICA LEWINSKY is still pining for the ex-commander in chief, say her friends.
The 37-year-old former intern – whose weight struggles were once almost as hot a topic as her sex life – looks trimmer than she has in years as she left Mr. Chow restaurant in Beverly Hills recently with a male companion.
In the years since the scandal that made her famous, Monica has not gotten married or had children because she is still in love with Clinton, according to those close to her.
“Monica still hasn’t gotten over Bill and would take him back in a second,” divulged a friend. “She told me, ‘There will never be another man in my life that could make me as happy as he did.’
“Monica still carries a torch for him. She’s dated some guys, off and on, since the whole White House mess. But she’s never been able to get Bill out of her heart.”
And, sadly, the source says Monica remains convinced that he cared for her as much as she
cared for him – and that he still does!
