MISTRIAL DECLARED IN PHIL SPECTOR TRIAL

description

After a Los Angeles jury hit announced they were deadlocked 10 – 2 and could not reach a verdict in the murder trial of music producer Phil Spector, a judge declared a mistrial Wednesday.

After months of testimony and 12 days of deliberations, the jury said they had reached an impasse in deciding whether Spector was guilty of second-degree murder for the death of actress Lana Clarkson.
