Mike Tyson who once bit the ear off of opponent Evander Holyfield, slugs a pap and gets hauled off by LAPD!
Cops say one time champ "Iron Mike" Tyson got into scuffle with a photog at the United Airlines terminal at Los Angeles International airport and then punched him in the face!
An eyewitness said the photographer first hit the Brooklyn-born brawler in an attempt to capture a dramatic shot not unlike the classic Confidential shots of Frank Sinatra going berserk.
But Tyson is NO Sinatra and his response? Dropped the pap with one punch!
The bleeding photog, now identified as Tony Echeverria, was taken to a local hospital with a nasty forehead gash.
Both wanted to file battery charges against the other.
Cop arrested both Tyson and the pap.
LAPD Sgt. Holcomb told media that Tyson will "be booked, and if he qualifies he’ll be released . . . on his own recognizance. The same thing will go with the other individual as soon as he gets out of the hospital."
And Tyson, who’s had a long history of trouble with the law and his fists, could be charged with more than simple battery if his hands are still registered as "lethal weapons".
