First lady MICHELLE OBAMA furious that her “charmer in chief” hubby has struck up a cozy new friendship with “Titi” the newly crowned Miss Israel.
White House sources say Michelle was “fit to be tied” when she learned that the president had his staffers specifically request that the gorgeous 21-year-old, Yityish “Titi” Aynaw, be invited to a March 21 state dinner held in his honor in Israel – while she was back home in Washington, D.C.!
In the lead-up to the gala dinner, hosted by Israeli President Shimon Peres at his residence in Jerusalem, the Miss Universe contestant admitted meeting Obama, 51, would be “a dream come true,” and described him as her role model.
The Ethiopian-born beauty, who was raised in Israel by her grandparents after her parents died, told reporters she got the invite because “I’m the first black Miss Israel to be chosen and [Obama] is the first black American president.”
And it appears that pretty Titi wasn’t disappointed by the meeting.
“He’s an exciting man, a world class HUNK, charming and an extraordinary gentleman,” she told an Israeli publication. And Obama was equally impressed with Titi, telling her she was “very beautiful” and adding that Michelle would love to be her height. (She’s nearly 6 feet tall!)
And if all that weren’t enough to send Michelle’s head spinning, it turns out that Titi looks like “Scandal” actress Kerry Washington, who – as The ENQUIRER reported last April – was barred from the White House because of her “flirty” relationship with the commander in chief.
Kerry, 36, shot to the top of 49-year-old Michelle’s “watch list” after she was appointed to the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, an honorary post that brought her in contact with the president.
Not long after that, we reported that Michelle flew into a fury after photos of her hubby’s flirty behavior with Thailand’s stunning prime minister, glamorous Yingluck Shinawatra, “humiliated” her in front of the world, sources said.
“Now on the international hit parade is lovely Miss Israel,” said the source. “She’s made no secret in press reports how much she admires Barack, calling him very powerful and ‘charismatic’ to reporters.”
At the dinner, it was reported that Titi was going to urge the president to release Jonathan Pollard, a former United States intelligence analyst serving a life sentence in a North Carolina prison for spying for Israel.
“It’s very possible Barack could ask her to come to D.C. to discuss the issue further,” added the White House insider. “That’s probably not going to sit well with Michelle!”
