MICHAEL J. FOX WIFE ON THE WARPATH

MICHAEL J. FOX’s real-life wife Tracy Pollan can’t stand his new TV spouse – and she’s warning her husband to keep his distance.

Betsy Brandt was handpicked by Michael to appear as his other half on “The Michael J. Fox Show,” but her endless fawning over the TV legend has Tracy seeing red, a show insider told The ENQUIRER.

“Betsy tells anyone who’ll listen what a wonderful guy Michael is and how playing his wife is a dream come true,” the source said. “She constantly gushes over how funny and handsome he is.”

The former “Family Ties” star, 52, incorporated his battle with Parkinson’s disease into the new sitcom. He stars as Mike Henry, a newscaster who returns to the business after taking a five-year health-related hiatus. Betsy plays his wife, Annie.

The 36-year-old mom of two, coming off her run as Maria Schrader, Walter White’s kooky sister-in-law in “Breaking Bad,” is happily married to her college sweetheart, Grady Olsen. But that doesn’t seem to matter to Tracy.

“It’s really not Betsy’s fault that Tracy is jealous,” continued the source. “Betsy is just naturally bubbly and friendly, but Tracy thinks she’s just a little too touchy-feely.”

The situation came to a head recently when Tracy, 53, guest-starred on the show and took issue with the number of times Betsy stopped to see Michael.

“Either you tell her to back off or I will!” Tracy threatened, according to the source.

Now Michael is apparently avoiding Betsy like the plague.

“Michael really likes Betsy but just wants everyone to get along,” the source added. “And the last thing he wants is trouble at home with Tracy.”
