METER READER GRILLED IN CASEY ANTHONY TRIAL

description

ROY KRONK, the meter reader who found CAYLEE ANTHONY‘s remains has been deposed by lawyers in the trial of accused murder mom CASEY ANTHONY.

For three hours, Anthony’s defense team grilled Kronk in a legal deposition.

As The ENQUIRER reported previously Kronk is the one who discovered Caylee’s skeletal remains inside a garbage bag in 2008.

Anthony’s defense has tried to cast a suspicious glare on Kronk, raising speculation that he may have been involved in the 2 year old child’s disappearance.

Kronk called 911 no less than 3 times to report the bag and was interviewed by a detective who was dispatched to investigate the call.

Anthony’s lawyer, Jose Baez, said the deposition was conducted respectfully, providing valuable information for the defense.

"We learned a great deal about Mr. Kronk and his actions," Baez said.

Baez said the questioning of Kronk is consistent with a strategy of "leaving no stone unturned."

"If law enforcement had done its job thoroughly, there wouldn’t be any questions," he said.

After just 3 hours on Friday, Kronk departed the courthouse with his lawyer.

Kronk’s attorney, David Evans, told  media, "For an extended period of time in this case there’s been a lot of effort made to throw dirt, mud on him.

"I have to honor him for being a guy that’s turned the other cheek.

"At the end of the day, in this case, of anybody that’s involved in all this mess, he’s going to be one guy who comes out with his reputation intact and his dignity intact."
