Oscar queen Meryl Streep is refusing foul-mouthed funny gal Amy Schumer’s pleas to join her on screen!
“Amy’s determined to act side-by-side with Meryl in either a mother/daughter comedy she’s writing, or a romp she co-wrote with best pal Jennifer Lawrence,” a source told The National ENQUIRER.

“Amy wants Meryl to play her mom, and her team’s been pushing hard for the A-list legend to get on board. But Meryl just won’t play ball.”
The “Trainwreck” cut-up, 34, thought it was mission accomplished after meeting Meryl, 66, at an event last October.
“Meryl was nice during their meeting but since then, Amy’s attempts to ingratiate herself have fallen on deaf ears,” the source revealed.
Another insider dished: “Barring a $30 million payday, Meryl’s not taking the bait.
“Amy just doesn’t excite Meryl. She doesn’t want to get lured into playing second banana to either Amy or Jennifer.
Amy’s doubly devastated because she and her sister, Kim Caramele, created a role in their mother/daughter comedy specifically for “The Devil Wears Prada” star, said the source.
