MATTHEW PERRY: FRIENDLESS?

Former ‘Friends’ star MATTHEW PERRY looks down and out in Malibu!

If he weren’t driving a Porsche worth six figures, you’d think he was a homeless guy.

The former “Friends” star – who’s bounced in and out of rehab while battling problems with booze and chemical dependency – looked disheveled and bloated while running errands in Malibu recently.

Wearing baggy shorts and a sloppy shirt, the 42-year-old actor didn’t even bother to put his right foot into his slip-on sneaker!

Now pals are wondering what’s up with the once-dashing TV heartthrob.

“Matthew used to be very active with his friends, but lately it seems as if he’s been keeping to himself,” confided a source.

“He’s been down for some reason. He hasn’t done his normal gym routine, and it’s showing.

“It’s no secret that Matthew has battled with his sobriety over the years, and his loved ones are worried he may spiral down again.”

Perry’s drug woes date back to May 1997 when he overdosed on the prescription painkiller Vicodin. He’s bounced in and out of several different rehab facilities over the years, and as The ENQUIRER reported in May of this year, the crushing failure of his latest sitcom “Mr. Sunshine” drove Perry back into rehab.

On May 12, he announced: “I’m making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety.”

The source added: “Matthew looks like he could really use a friend.”
