MATCHMAKER PATTI STANGER CANCER

TV’s MILLIONAIRE MATCHMAKER PATTI STANGER has emergency surgery for a potentially dangerous lymph node, her manager told The ENQUIRER.

Patti went under the knife recently, but it wasn’t for plastic surgery – the 50-year-old reality show star needed an emergency procedure to remove a potentially dangerous lymph node, sources tell The ENQUIRER.

And after days of anxious anticipation over her biopsy results, Patti was finally given a clean bill of health from her doctors.

Her manager, Jeff Federman, confirmed to The ENQUIRERthat Patti was recuperating from having a noncancerous lymph node removed.

“She’s a trouper,” he said. “We expect her to be back on her feet in no time and filming another season of ‘Millionaire Matchmaker’ in the spring.”

On Jan. 18, Patti discussed the surgery with her Twitter fans and thanked them for their support.

“Wanted to thank mytweeties this week for wishing me well,” she posted. “Had some emergency surgery, not cosmetic, but the scary kind. Love you all! X0”

Patti has been open in the past about her medical history.

During a Sept. 25, 2011, appearance on “Watch What Happens: Live,” she confessed to host Andy Cohen that she’d gone under the knife to correct a condition called “ptosis,” or droopy eyelids.

“I wanted a face-lift,” Patti added. “He (her doctor) wouldn’t give it to me.

“We’re all getting plastic surgery. This is the game here, and HDTV exaggerates all the features.

“I’m proud of it, because we’re all doing it. Nobody’s talking about it.”
