According to Martha Stewart, Rachael Ray can churn our cook books but can’t hold a candle to –herself!
In Martha’s first TV interview since being jailed in 2004-2005 for lying to SEC investigators about a stock trade, Stewart claims that Ray admitted she can’t bake and that one of her new cookbooks is nothing more than a compilation of re-edited, old recipes.
"I mean, I really want to write a book that is unique and a lasting thing," Stewart said on ABC’s Nightline airing tonight. "Something that will really fulfill a need in someone’s library. So, she’s different.
"She’s – more of an entertainer than she is, with her bubbly personality, than she is a teacher, like me. That’s not what she’s professing to be."
Ray, who recently cross overed to Stewart’s daytime show said she’s OK with the diss.
"Why would it make me mad?" Ray told ABC.
"Her skill set is far beyond mine. That’s simply the reality of it. I really just think she’s being honest."
Ray then confided Martha can really whip up a kick-ass dish.
"I’d rather eat Martha’s than mine, too," Ray admitted.
