MARIE WINS FIGHT OVER SUICIDE SON

Heartbroken MARIE OSMOND has finally won an exhausting battle with her ex-husband over the name on her late son’s headstone.

“Michael can now rest in peace,” a relieved Marie told a pal.

Due to the dispute between Marie and her ex, Brian Blosil, her son’s grave didn’t have a proper monument for nearly two years. Only a simple green rubber marker and sign denoted his final resting place at the East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery in Provo, Utah.

But now, a headstone has finally been placed on Michael’s grave, bearing the name Marie insisted on – “Michael Bryan.”

Also on the stone is a Mormon religious inscription chosen by his seven siblings and expressing their belief they will all be together again one day in Heaven.

Last May, The ENQUIRER revealed that Marie – whose adopted son Michael leaped to his death from his Los Angeles apartment in February 2010 – was locked in a bitter battle with Blosil over their son’s headstone.

Marie insisted on having Michael’s chosen surname on his grave.

The young man had despised his father and was in the process of legally changing his last name from “Blosil” to “Bryan” – his middle name – when he tragically died at age 18.

“After nearly two years of battling her ex-husband over the headstone, Marie can now start the healing process over losing her son,” said an insider.
