Marie Osmond, 48, collapsed after she performed the samba on Dancing with the Stars on Monday night, Oct. 22.

The show immediately cut to a commercial and after the break, host Tom Bergeron announced that Marie was doing fine and had just fainted. He said that the first thing Marie said when she woke up was, “Oh crap.”

While waiting backstage for her score with partner Jonathan Roberts, Marie told viewers, “Once in a while that happens to me when I get winded. … You don’t plan those things. I’m so sorry!”

Osmond rested in her dressing room during the rest of the show but came back out at the end for the final recap.

In an exclusive interview on Tuesday, Marie told Entertainment Tonight, “It’s nuts. I feel bad that it happened… Right at the beginning, I started getting lightheaded. The only thing I can think of is I have allergies, the air quality is terrible and I couldn’t get my breath.”
