The 41-year-old Grammy winner has suffered through multiple miscarriages and her current pregnancy is a result of her fourth try at in vitro fertilization.
The performer had a terrifying on-stage collapse in September and her friends became frightened her hectic lifestyle was putting her and her babies in serious jeopardy.
"Mariah now realizes her high-risk pregnancy is a life-and-death situation," an insider told The ENQUIRER.
