Carey's rep confirmed the pop thrush gave birth Saturday morning at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles.
The as-yet-unnamed baby girl was born first, weighing 5 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 18 inches tall; her brother was next, at 5 pounds 6 ounces, and was 19 inches tall.
Cannon rushed Mariah, 41, to the hospital in their Rolls-Royce Phantom.
MAriah had already had several false labors, was calm, thinking that it was misfire.
Meanwhile, Nick, 30, Nick was so nervous he went to the wrong department at the hospital, the PR flack stated.
"It was like something out of I Love Lucy," the rep said.
As The ENQUIRER reported after muliple failed attempts to conceive, the couple achieved pregnancy by in vitro technique.
Mariah had said previously this would be her last attempt at bearing children.
