Madonna is planning to adopt a baby girl from Malawi, according to London’s Daily Mail.
Officials in Malawi reportedly confirmed they had given Madonna permission to adopt a 13-month-old girl named Mercy from the Kondanani Orphan Care Centre. She could bring the child to her London home as soon as April next year.
In the meantime, a Malawi welfare official will be visiting Madonna’s home next week to assess her suitability as an adoptive parent for David. His adoption has not yet been finalized.
