Disgraced TV newsman BRIAN WILLIAMS allegedly said he had a brain tumor to explain his lying.
Vanity Fair reported that several NBC insiders told them that Brian Williams, The NBC Nightly News anchor, couldn’t admit he lied about being attacked on a chooper in Iraq so he came up with a novel excuse.
“(Brian said,) ‘Did something happen to (my) head?
"Maybe I had a brain tumor, or something in my head,’” a source told the glam mag.
“He just didn’t know. We just didn’t know. We had no clear sense what had happened.
"We got the best (apology) we could get.”
