Actor Rob Lowe‘s former nanny is claiming victory in Round One of the Lowe/Nannies legal debacle.
Lowe sued Nanny #1 Jessica Gibson in April charging her with extortion. She countersued accusing the former West Wing thesp of sexual misconduct including groping her and exposing himself.
Superior Court Judge Denise de Bellefeuille, in a hearing in California, dismissed four of Lowe’s charges against Nanny Gib.
"This is a huge victory for us today," Gibson’s lawyer Gloria Allred said.
"We look forward to continuing with our sexual harassment suit against the Lowes."
Lowe is not accepting defeat. His team is buoyed by the judge’s decision to dismiss one of Gibson’s charges.
"We didn’t lose anything today," Lowe’s barrister Larry Stein stated. "I’m delighted with the dismissal we won, and in essence, our lawsuit against Gibson remains totally intact."
Nanny Number Two, Laura Boyce, is on deck with her lawsuit against Lowe.
