 LOST secret WAR

Lost star Rebecca Mader emerged the clear winner in a war with the bosses of the ABC hit.

The feisty, flame-haired actress recently faced off with producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof on her Facebook page, accusing them of lies and deceit
.
Fans of Lost recently noticed a mistake on the show regarding the age of Rebecca's character, strong-willed anthropologist Charlotte Lewis. A flashback scene showed a young Charlotte as a child during the 1970s with the Dharma Initiative, yet the character's birth date had previously been established as 1979!

In a recent podcast, Carlton and Damon blamed Rebecca for the error, but the 29-year-old British actress fired back on her Facebook page: "I'm [P.O.ed] Damon and Carlton lied about me on the most recent PODCAST. The timeline error was their mistake, and they are making it out to be my fault. NOT COOL!"

Since Lost cast members are required by contract to keep quiet about the production, co-workers feared her job might be in jeopardy after she publicly bashed the producers. In the end, the show runners offered an apology.

"Rebecca is absolutely right, and we apologize to both her and the entire fan community for screwing up the story," the two producers said in a joint e-mail statement.

"Our first mistake was the timeline gaffe, but the much more significant one was wrapping Rebecca up in this when she had nothing to do with it…It was our bad. One hundred percent."

In time travel, continuity issues usually are a problem.  Just ask Benjamin Linus.
