LOIS LANE VS. MAN OF STEAL

description

90 year old Joan Alexander Stanton, who starred as Lois Lane, on the 1940s Superman radio program, accused her financial adviser of being the man of  steal.

Stanton, who acted under the name Joan Alexander married Arthur Stanton who left her $70 million when he died.

Filing court papers, Stanton claimed adviser Kenneth Ira Starr used the super-widow’s money as “his own unrestricted endowment” and then funnel the money to his own undisclosed sources.  Starr’s celebrity clients in the past have included Diane Sawyer, Sly Stallone and Wesley Snipes.

Starr’s attorney, David Mills, said Stanton’s claim was “without merit and we will vigorously defend against them in court.”

He’d better hope that Mrs. Stanton doesn’t call on her other famous costar.

She was also  the first actress to play Perry Mason’s gal friday Della Street .
