EX- Partridge Family teen idol turns off fans with diva-like behavior at a meet-and-greet session known as The Hollywood Show on Oct. 11.
"David was the show’s headliner, and fans were shrieking in anticipation," an eyewitness told The ENQUIRER.
But Cassidy – now starring in the ABC Family series Ruby & The Rockits – seemed to arrive in a foul mood, and he had a list of rules, said the source.
"You weren’t allowed to shake his hand. You weren’t allowed to get a picture taken with him. You weren’t even allowed to take your camera out to photograph him signing autographs. It was just ridiculous!" said the source.
Cassidy also announced that the only photos he’d sign were those he brought, said the eyewitness.
"He refused to sign photos brought by fans, and he didn’t want any Partridge Family‘pictures on his table except a publicity photo of him as Keith Partridge," said the source.
The 59-year-old star’s fussy attitude pushed one fan over the edge, according to the eyewitness.
"When the fan asked David to sign a photograph of him that she’d taken 30 years ago, he barked, ‘No! Forget it! I said NO personal photos!’ The woman got so upset that she tore the photo up and ran off in tears!" said the source.
Cassidy stormed off after he’d stayed for only 50 minutes of the three-hour event.
