Exonerated murder mom CASEY ANTHONY flips, accuses ex-BF JESSE GRUND of “cashing in” with shocking tell-all book.
Grund writes in the book proposal, which is being shopped to pubs by Legacy Management, “I witnessed the devastating effects of severe dysfunction. I know what events in her life have molded her into the vilified Casey Anthony.”
Casey and Grund, the son of a Queens minister, began dating in January 2005.
Later, that summer, she allegedly texted him she was expecting Caylee, Grund claims, reading: “I am pregnant. It’s yours.”
Grund was present when Caylee was born but a paternity test revealed he was NOT the father.
They split up in June 2006, as Grund “watched Casey change into the infamous ‘party monster’ everyone else saw,” the book proposal says.
“The story played out … has a deeper, darker unknown element to it.”
Grund later gave evidence in Anthony’s trial but not before the jury. After Casey was acquitting in the murder charges, he made the media rounds, slamming the entire Anthony family as a “carnival of dysfunctionality.”
Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, told the NY Post via rep, “I found Mr. Grund to be very interested in serving himself.
“Jesse Grund…traveled to New York more than any other group to do interviews — and I would say the same about George and Cindy Anthony.”
Meanwhile, the losing prosecuting attorney who reigned in the trial’s aftermath, Jeff Ashton, has written a book "Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony" which will be published in November.
