Olympic golden girl Lindsey Vonn set to make HER hidden wish come true!
Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn is in talks to make an appearance on her favorite TV show, Law & Order, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.
NBC execs are thrilled that the beautiful, blonde U.S. ski champ is interested in a guest spot on the popular crime program.
"This is a dream come true – both for the network and for Lindsey," a source close to the show told The ENQUIRER. "Lindsey is absolutely crazy for Law & Order."
The 25-year-old skier relaxed before the Olympics by watching "Law & Order" DVDs.
"She joked that it was part of her training for the downhill event," said the source.
Lindsey’s deal to appear on TV’s longest-running scripted show – currently on the air in its 20th season – has been more than a year in the making.
"The problem is that with all of her Olympic training and her World Cup racing schedule, there hasn’t been the time," said the source.
But now producers "are within days of securing a deal," and are hoping to film Lindsey in New York City, say insiders.
"Execs at NBC and the producers at Law & Order would like Lindsey to play herself," said the source.
"They suggested she could be in an episode where a fellow female skier is found murdered, and Lindsey is interviewed by detectives."
Surprisingly, the gold medal winner says she would enjoy playing a victim, according to the source.
"But a producer told her, ‘Can you imagine the hate mail we’d get for killing off golden girl Lindsey Vonn!’"
