The actress arrived at court about 10 minutes late and was handcuffed behind her back after a brief hearing and then taken into custody.
Lindsay spent her final night of freedom dealing with a game of lawyer swap, after Robert Shapiro, who runs a rehab facility named for his late son and was one of O.J. Simpson‘s murder trial defense team, informed Judge Marsha Revel he was no longer repping the troubled star, the LA Times reported.
Lilo’s original attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, who abruptly quit after Linds was shopping for a new representation – never signed the substitution of attorney form, officially going off the reservation.
Lindsay will serve her sentence in a women’s detention center near Los Angeles.
Due to overcrowding, Lilo is believed to serve only a portion of her 90 day sentence; 2- 3 weeks tops.
After her incarceration, Lilo is court ordered to rehab for an additional 90 days.
And if she maintains an "even balance", Lilo will be the new Queen of Cool and stand to make a fortune.
