BOBBI KRISTINA BROWN was struggling for her life just months after dismissing The National ENQUIRER’s reporting on her drug binges as “insane!”
In fact, The ENQUIRER has spent years helping her closest friends intervene in the desperate drug hell of Whitney Houston’s daughter – exposing the same rampant addiction that consumed Bobbi Kristina’s junkie mother!
In our March 14, 2011 issue, a series of shocking photos obtained exclusively by The ENQUIRER showed the troubled teen – known to her friends as “Krissi” – snorting lines of cocaine at two different parties.
In addition to cocaine and marijuana, a close source said Bobbi Kristina was also hopelessly addicted to alcohol – guzzling beer and getting smashed on the potent grain alcohol Everclear.
The ENQUIRER informant was a former boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina who had come forward in a desperate bid to save her life, and to beg Whitney – then still alive – to get involved before it was too late.
“Krissi is addicted to cocaine. I’ve tried to stop her, but all she said was, ‘I’m just like my mother!’” the ex-lover – who dated her for 2-and-a-half years – revealed to The ENQUIRER. The photos showed Bobbi Kristina – aged 17 at the time and living with her mother – snorting cocaine while partying at a friend’s house in Alpharetta, Ga.
“Krissi was pretty wired,” divulged the young man, who eyewitnessed Bobbi Kristina’s behavior and snapped the photos.
After the blockbuster photos made shocking headlines around the world, Bobbi Kristina took to Twitter to deny she had checked into rehab.
Eleven months later, Whitney was dead at age 42.
Bobbi Kristina – who accompanied her doomed mother on the trip to Los Angeles for the Grammys – was so devastated that she was rushed to a hospital after collapsing from stress and anxiety.
Whitney’s drug-related death only spurred on her daughter’s own addictions – with Bobbi Kristina even caught getting high while sneaking out of her mother’s funeral!
Only weeks after the death, The ENQUIRER published more photos of Bobbi Kristina’s tragic descent into drug depravity.
Those pics appeared in our March 12, 2012 issue – taken from a video shot in March 2011, as Bobbi Kristina partied with college pals at an off-campus apartment in Statesboro, Ga.
With her eyes glazed over, Bobbi Kristina is seen taking hits of marijuana from a giant bong and downing shots of vodka.
On the video, she said: “Give me the lighter,” and then ignited a bowl of marijuana in the three-foot-long smoking pipe.
Six months ago, in The ENQUIRER’s Aug. 4 issue, we reported that Bobbi Kristina’s behavior had “sparked new concerns that she’s abusing drugs.”
She responded on her Instagram account, declaring: “People are insane.”
