LEVI SAYS HE LIED WHEN HE ADMITTED LYING ABOUT PALIN

LEVI JOHNSTON has mastered the art of politics and he wants you, the people of America, to know that his apology to the Palins was a steaming heap of caribou dung.

"I don't really regret anything," Johnston told CBS.

"But the only thing I wish I wouldn't have done is put out that apology 'cause it kind of makes me sound like a liar. And I've never lied about anything. So that's probably the only thing.

"The rest of the stuff I can live with."

Before his recent renewed romance with baby mamma Teen Prego Queen Bristol Palin  Big Mamma Sarah Palin forced him to admit he had been lying when they were openly feuding in the media prior (coincidentally when her book Going Rogue was climbing the best-seller list

"Last year, after Bristol and I broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry," Levi told a glam fan mag at the time.

"Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true."

Well, newly free Levi, who's openly seeking Sarah Palin's old stomping ground as Mayor of Wasillia for new reality show, admits he was lying when he said he wasn't lying about all the dirt he had on the Palins.  Will he dish more now?

Yet Levi declined comment on whether or not Bristol Palin, newly signed to Dancing With the Stars, can actually dance, preferring to keep CBS's interviewer focused solely on himself.

"I don't think I'm any more obsessed with making a career out of this than she is... obviously, she's doing Dancing With The Stars," he said. "I wouldn't say I'm obsessed... I'm just taking the opportunities as they come."
