LEVI BEATS JOHN EDWARDS!

Maybe LEVI JOHNSTON is NOT Alaska's favorite son, after all.  He just took the title of "Most Unpopular" from reigning champ JOHN EDWARDS!

Despite his recent announcement to run for mayor of Wasilla, his ex-BRISTOL PALIN's mom, Sarah's old stomping grounds, Levi may have run afoul of the denizens of "Seward's Folly".

According to a survey conducted by Public Policy Polling, Johnston is now the "most unpopular person PPP has polled in any state."

The previous title holder was ENQUIRER favorite, disgraced two-time Presidential loser, cheater and liar, John Edwards.

According to PPP's favorability factor, Edwards slotted an overwhelming negative rating 15/72 in North Carolina, his home state.

But residents of the 49th state hate Levi just as much.

The baby dada got the same 72% unfavorable rating as Edwards but only 6% "see him in a positive light".

"Those poll numbers probably don't bode too well for his Wasilla Mayoral candidacy," PPP reports.

Meanwhile this is no surprise to former teen prego queen Bristol Palin, the mother of Levi's infant son Tripp, who's trading teen pregnancy advocacy duties to foxtrot on TV's Dancing With the Stars.

"He needs to move to Wasilla, to the city limits." she recently said. "He needs to get his G.E.D."

With a new hottie on his arm and a reality show to launch, Levi seems undaunted by ex-s AND pollsters.
