LEONARD NIMOY: IT’s OVER!

description

Spock Prime won’t be in next Trek Movie – LEONARD NIMOY hangs up his ears, The ENQUIRER has learned.

The 79 year old master thespian also said he won’t be back on hit series Fringe after his arc concludes.

Nimoy is finished pretending, he says.

"Countless times, I thought it was done," the pop icon said.

"I’ve been doing this professionally for 60 years," Nimoy laughed. "I love the idea of going out on a positive note. I’ve had a great, great time."

"I want to get off the stage. Also, I don’t think it would be fair to Zachary Quinto," he said, referring to the actor who played young Spock in the JJ Abrams Star Trek reboot.

"He’s a terrific actor, he looks the part, and it’s time to give him some space.

And as far as recurring role on Abrams produced Fringe, it’s time to say goodbye to other worldly William Bell as well.  Since he only agreed to do a few eps as a favor to Abrams, the role was strictly limited.

"I was away from acting for 12 years, so I guess I was seducable," Nimoy says. "But since J.J. Abrams revived the Star Trek franchise, I felt I owed him something.

"And I’m glad I did it because he promised me a good story, and it was."

Not to worry, Nimoy is also a world renowned photographer.

 His specialty: nudes.
