After stopping production for two months in support of the writers strike, Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien are returning to TV! The latenight hosts will be back on the air with fresh episodes starting January 2, 2008.
“Both Jay and Conan have supported their writers during the first two months of this WGA (Writers Guild of America) strike and will continue to support them,” said NBC exec Rick Ludwin said. “However, there are hundreds of people who will be able to return to work as a result of Jay’s and Conan’s decision.”
Both The Tonight Show and Late Night will return without the help of writers.
