LEANN RIMES has put together a $100,000 “beauty budget” to keep cheating hubby EDDIE CIBRIAN happy – and to show up his ex-wife BRANDI GLANVILLE, sources say.
The 30-year-old singer has recruited an A-list team of stylists, beauty experts and personal trainers for her makeover, insiders say. She’s already getting results, and flaunted her taut, toned body on Style Network’s “Celebrity Closet Confidential.”
“LeAnn is ready to spend up to $100,000 on looking good for Eddie, and she did the TV show strictly to stick it to Brandi,” revealed a close source.
“On the show, she wore A little red bikini while a group of stylists told her how great she looked. LeAnn knows Brandi won’t be able to resist watching it!”
Former model Brandi, 40, and LeAnn have been feuding ever since LeAnn’s affair with Eddie, which started when they co-starred in the TV movie “Northern Lights,” was revealed in 2009.
In her new book “Drinking & Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders,” Brandi describes how LeAnn hit on Eddie right in front of her. Now friends say LeAnn fears that Eddie will cheat on her, and that sparked her makeover mania.
“LeAnn knows how easy it was to get Eddie’s attention when they started their affair,” said the source. “He was married to Brandi, who’s very pretty, at the time, so LeAnn feels that she has to stay on her toes to keep him.
“She’s sparing no expense on her wardrobe, filling her closet with designer clothes, including dresses, slacks, blouses, blazers and skirts, along with shoes and accessories for every occasion. She wants to be casual but chic, even if she’s just going to the grocery store or hanging out at the beach.”
The “Blue” singer plans to spend more than $10,000 on lingerie alone, plus another $5,000 on cosmetics and bedroom toys.
“LeAnn is also talking about getting skin treatments like a $7,000 diamond and ruby facial peel, plus regular massages and yoga classes, along with bathing in imported Evian water,” said the source.
“She’s hoping her makeover will excite Eddie and keep him happy so he’ll stay home with her and his two boys.
“LeAnn knows that if Eddie ever cheated on her, everyone would say she deserved it. So she’s doing what she can to make sure it never happens!”
