Kevin Federline‘s lawyer says Britney Spears hasn’t been submitting to court-ordered random drug tests. In court on Thursday, K-Fed’s lawyer told a judge Spears has missed eight out of 14 appointments.
“Mr. Federline doesn’t want to take the children out of their mom’s life,” his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan told Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon. “But we don’t know what else there is to do.”
Britney’s lawyer defended the pop star, saying Spears was too busy promoting her new album to make herself available on an hour’s notice for random drug testing.
Both sides were unable to reach an agreement on Thursday but will continue to search for a solution and report back to the judge on the matter by Tuesday.
