SO what kept LINDSAY LOHAN "trapped" in Europe away from that all important court date in LA? Volcanic ash? Dad stole her passport? Or something MORE insidious?!
Previously on THE GIRL WITH THE BEST PR AGENT in the WORLD, Lindsay Lohan was due back in Los Angeles for her probation hearing on whether or not she satisfactorily completed alcohol education classes stemming from her 2007 DUI arrest.
Judge Marsha Revel at Beverly Hills Superior Courthouse is so miffed at Lilo’s non-compliance she’s issued an arrest warrant for the Machete starlet.
"She should have made sure she either didn’t go to Cannes or made sure to be back two days earlier," said Revel.
Meanwhile, Lilo is STILL at the Cannes Film Festival after her passport allegedly disappeared.
AND she’s convinced feuding dad Michael is behind the mysterious theft because he accused her of avoiding the hearing — opting for a quickie 180 day jail term rather than rehab.
"My passport’s been stolen," Lilo said. "It’s clearly an inside person who works with my father that has been sent to set me up. He’s been threatening me."
Lilo s due at the US Embassy to replace the travel docs but still didn’t make it back in time for her hearing.
Thanks to ash from that darn volcano, "all flights are booked" Lilo stated.
