Breaking – 2 people dead, 22 injured  as two explosions devastate Boston Marathon. Many gravely injured…

About three hours after the winners crossed the line, there was a loud explosion on of Boylston Street.  Another thunderous explosion could be heard a few seconds later.

Law enforcement and EMTS raced IN  toward the blasts to carry off the injured as stragglers were immediately re-routed from the finish line where the blasts erupted.

Competitors and race officials wept as they fled the chaos.

Bloody spectators were carried to the medical tent that had been set up to care for fatigued runners.

“There are a lot of people down," said competitor Frank Deruyter of North Carolina.

Runner Laura McLean of Toronto told media "There are people who are really, really bloody.”

''I was expecting my husband any minute," Cherie Falgoust said.  "I don't know what this building is … it just blew. Just a big bomb, a loud boom, and then glass everywhere. Something hit my head. I don't know what it was. I just ducked."

Bombs were said to be placed in trash containers along the route. Boston metropolitan police have reportedly detonated at least one other explosive device. The incident at the JFK Library, police say, is unrelated.

“There is no sign of any radiological material involved in the explosion,” a federal source said.

Cellphone towers have been shut down to prevent additional detonations as it is believed the devices were triggered by mobile phone.

The White House vows justice and said a full investigation was underway.

“But make no mistake,” President Obama said in the White House briefing room, “we will find out who did this, why they did this. Any responsible group will feel the full weight of justice.”
