All bets are off on Las Vegas star Josh Duhamel‘s romance with Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie.
The handsome actor has pulled the plug on their two-year relationship because of his wandering eye and a work schedule that kept the couple apart for months at a time.
Josh, 33, quietly called it quits with the spunky singer — whose real name is Stacy Ferguson — while she was on tour in order to keep the breakup as low-key as possible, say insiders.
“Josh and Fergie refused to play the Hollywood game during their romance — opting not to address any gossip about marriage or troubles during the relationship,” said one insider. “And he’s tried to end it just as quietly.
“Sadly, everybody — including Fergie — is aware of Josh’s reputation as a ‘player.'”
Recent photos of Josh romping with bikini-clad beauties at his Brentwood home — along with rumors of a Las Vegas fling with gorgeous Transformers co-star Megan Fox — also contributed to his split with the 31-year-old pop songstress.
“Ultimately, Josh just isn’t ready to settle down,” explained the insider.
Josh and Fergie started dating in the fall of 2004, when the Black Eyed Peas performed in an episode of Las Vegas.
Josh’s publicist denied that he has broken up with Fergie.
But the insider added: “In the long run, Josh’s eye began to wander because their schedules were always conflicting.
“In the end, the odds were stacked against them, and Josh ended up bailing out.”
