Hollywood director/writer Shane Black accused by former GF of repeated drug-fueled violence against her.
Sonya Popovich, the ex-girl friend of writer/producer/director Shane Black who cred’s include Kiss Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Lethal Weapon and The Last Boy Scout filed a lawsuit in LA County Superior Court yesterday accusing the scribe of assault, battery, and causing emotional distress.
She is seeking $5 million for her pain.
According to papers filed in court, in 2006, Black allegedly hopped up on coke stuck a pistol in his mouth and threatened suicide before aiming at her. The gun discharged and left a bullet in the wall next to Sonya.
Popvich also alleges in addition to repeated beatings and a trip to the ER for a hairline split in her esophagus that when he came to visit her in the hospital he "crawled into [her] bed, removed a vial of cocaine from his pocket, sniffed some cocaine from the vial, and proceeded to masturbate in Plaintiff’s hospital bed."
