Disgraced presidential candidate JOHN EDWARDS is such a cad he can't even help himself from flirting with an alternate juror during his campaign finance trial.

Edwards has caught the eye of "an attractive young woman with jet-black hair," according to ABC News. The woman has been seen smiling and giggling at Edwards who is said to smile and blush in return.

According to the report, "The flirtation has become so obvious that even Edwards' attorneys have to work to suppress their laughter at the absurdity of it all."

The unidentified alternate juror has been in the courtroom for the trial but she is not currently deliberating with the 12 main jurors.

Edwards is accused of using nearly $1 million in campaign donations to hide his affair with his mistress RIELLE HUNTER. He could be sentenced to as much as 30 years in prison and fined as much as $1.5 million if convicted.
