KIRSTIE ALLEY: CANDY IS DANDY BUT PALS FEAR BLUBBERZILLA

KIRSTIE ALLEY has packed on at least 35 pounds in just weeks – and now pals fear TV’s “Fat Actress” has given up dieting for good… and will eat herself into an early grave!

The 5-foot-8 former “Cheers” star looked fit and trim wearing a stylish mottled green tunic top over black

leggings in New York City on Dec. 5. But on Jan. 28, the same tunic top was stretched taut over Kirstie’s bulging belly as she walked out of See’s Candies in los Angeles with two huge bags of goodies.

“Kirstie had been down to 165 pounds only recently, but now it seems she’s pushing 200 pounds again,” a pal told the ENQUIRER.

“Her friends fear that she’s given up dieting and is going to eat herself to death. She’s under stress because (her TV Land show) ‘Kirstie’ isn’t doing well. Besides that, she was facing another Valentine’s Day without a man in her life.”

The 63-year-old sitcom queen had been shedding pounds steadily last year, insisting that she’d slimmed down by sticking to a healthy diet and working out. But as The ENQUIRER recently reported, sources sniped that Kirstie owed her smoking-hot body to secret liposuction.

“Her friends think she finally bit the bullet and had fat sucked out of her most troublesome spots – her butt, upper thighs and stomach area,” a source said at the time.

When asked for comment, Kirstie said she was flattered by the idea that she looked so good people were thinking she may have had a procedure. Still, while Kirstie has denied undergoing cosmetic surgery or liposuction, her decades-long battle of the bulge has been well-documented. She recently admitted to radio shock jock Howard Stern that at her heaviest she weighed 230 pounds, although sources told the ENQUIRER that she’d ballooned to 265 pounds when she checked into a fat farm in 2009.

The TV vet said she lost 25 pounds on her Organic liaison weight-loss program and 15 more during her 2011 run on “Dancing with the stars” – dropping her to 190.  But as her shopping trip to See’s Candies shows, “it appears she’s off her diet and eating again with reckless abandon,” said another source.

“She’s worried about her TV Land show.” sources say the plus-size star has been hoping “Kirstie,” which debuted Dec. 4, will jump-start a career comeback. But critics have slammed the show.

When asked to comment, Kirstie fired off a message on Twitter saying: “it appears the Enquirer, which gave my show a glowing review, has decided to imply that instead of buying my staff & kids Valentines at See’s candies, that I’ve gone on same (sic) MAD tirade to quell my deep pain because of lack of lovers…lol…Damn!! I better get busy shagging.”
